1.Seller and scope
These terms govern purchases made on the site by consumers, as defined in art. 3 of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005). The seller is Da inserire, with registered office at Da inserire, Da inserire Da inserire (Da inserire), VAT ID Da inserire, email Da inserire (hereinafter “Gourmet Hub”).
Further details of the seller are given in the Legal notice.
2.Products and information
Before purchase, each product page shows the essential characteristics: name, ingredients with allergens highlighted, origin, storage instructions, net quantity and price, including the price per kilogram or per litre where required (Reg. (EU) 1169/2011 and Consumer Code).
Photographs are indicative. The label of the product received prevails, and should always be read in case of allergies or intolerances.
Perishable products, such as cured meats, cheeses and eggs, state their storage instructions on the product page and on the label, which the consumer should follow from delivery onwards.
3.Prices and VAT
All prices are in euro and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown in the cart before the order is confirmed and are not added afterwards.
4.Order and conclusion of the contract
- The consumer selects the products and adds them to the cart.
- On the checkout page the consumer enters the delivery details and chooses the payment method.
- Before confirming, the consumer sees a summary with the total price, costs and delivery times.
- The contract is concluded when Gourmet Hub sends the order confirmation by email.
Gourmet Hub may decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable or a price is manifestly wrong, fully refunding anything already paid.
5.Payment
Payment takes place on the secure checkout page provided by Shopify, with the methods available at the time of purchase. Gourmet Hub neither knows nor stores payment card details.
6.Delivery
Products are delivered to the address given in the order, within the times shown in the cart and in any case within thirty days of the conclusion of the contract, unless otherwise agreed (art. 61 Consumer Code). More information is on the Shipping page.
If delivery does not take place on time, the consumer may ask Gourmet Hub to deliver within an appropriate additional period and, failing that, terminate the contract and obtain a refund.
Fresh eggs are delivered in Campania and Basilicata only (provinces of AV, BN, CE, NA, SA, MT, PZ). The product page states this before purchase and the checkout page only offers the deliveries available for the address given.
7.Subscriptions
Some products, such as fresh eggs, are sold by subscription only: the consumer chooses the box (6 or 12 eggs) and the delivery frequency (every 1, 2, or 4 weeks) and receives the products at that pace, with the discount shown on the product page (currently 10%).
Before confirming, the checkout page shows the price of each delivery, the frequency and the payment method that will be charged at the following dates. The subscription lasts until the consumer cancels it; it can be paused, changed or cancelled at any time for the deliveries not yet prepared, through the link in the confirmation email or by writing through the contact page.
Eggs are perishable goods: deliveries already received are not subject to the right of withdrawal (see below and the Returns, refunds and withdrawal page).
8.Right of withdrawal
The consumer has the right to withdraw, without giving any reason, within fourteen days from the day on which they take possession of the goods, subject to the exceptions of art. 59 of the Consumer Code, which include goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, such as fresh eggs, and sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for reasons of hygiene or health protection, if opened after delivery, such as vacuum-packed cured meats and cheeses.
The procedure and effects of withdrawal are described on the Returns, refunds and withdrawal page. Withdrawal can be exercised at any time using the online withdrawal form, without registering.
9.Legal warranty of conformity
The seller is liable for lack of conformity of the goods under articles 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code. For food products conformity is assessed up to the use-by date or best-before date shown on the label.
To claim under the warranty the consumer may write through the contact page, stating the order number and, if possible, attaching photographs.
10.Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints can be sent through the contact page. The consumer may also turn to the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) bodies provided for by law.
11.Governing law and jurisdiction
The contract is governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of the country where the consumer resides. For disputes with a consumer, the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction (art. 66-bis Consumer Code).
12.Changes
Each order is governed by the terms published when it is placed. Gourmet Hub may update them for future orders: the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
