Information
Shipping
You see the exact cost and timing in the cart before you pay: here is how we work. We ship anywhere in Italy; fresh eggs are delivered in Campania and Basilicata only.
How we ship
We pack every order by hand and hand it to an express courier. When the parcel leaves you get an email with the tracking number, so you always know where it is.
Delivery times
An order normally leaves within a few working days of payment and arrives a few working days later. In busy periods, such as the holidays, times can stretch: we always tell you in advance.
The times shown in the cart take precedence over those on this page.
Costs
The cost depends on the weight of the parcel and the destination, and we calculate it in the cart: no surprises at checkout. Above a certain spend shipping is free, and the cart shows how much is left to reach it.
Aged cured meats and cheeses
The cured meats and cheeses in the catalogue are aged: we ship them anywhere in Italy, packed to protect them from knocks and heat. In the hottest months we can agree the best delivery day with you: write to us.
When they arrive:
- unpack them straight away and store them as shown on the label and on the product page, which always has a storage section;
- whole cured meats: in a cool, dry place; once cut, in the fridge, wrapped in food paper;
- aged cheeses: in the fridge, in its least cold part, wrapped in food paper; take them out an hour before serving;
- vacuum-packed products: in the fridge until opened, then as shown on the label.
Fresh eggs: local delivery only
Fresh eggs are sold by subscription only and delivered in Campania and Basilicata only (provinces of AV, BN, CE, NA, SA, MT, PZ), at the pace you choose: every 1, 2, or 4 weeks. All the details are on the subscription page.
At checkout you only see the deliveries available for your address: if it is outside these provinces, the eggs cannot be ordered. The other products in the same order ship as usual.
As soon as they arrive, keep the eggs in the fridge and use them by the date on the box.
Glass, oil and delicate products
Bottles and jars travel with dedicated protection, so olive oil, preserves and honey arrive intact.
If something goes wrong
Check the parcel when you receive it. If it is damaged or something is missing, write to us within a few days with your order number and a few photos: we will find a solution together. For fresh products such as eggs, write as soon as possible, ideally on the day of delivery.
To change your mind about a purchase see returns and withdrawal; more answers are in the FAQ.
